Upside down always ends up right side up - After getting very very lost with no road in sight and having to make our way through crop fields and bushes and trees, we were covered in dust, sand and thorns. Oh and sweat... LOTS of sweat. But after that we managed to find SO MANY really cool temples to climb and (more legit) roads to follow. We ended up going through a village, running into herds of ox a few times, and had the best temple in all of Bagan to ourselves to watch the sunset. But on our way back in the dark our scooters ran out of battery. We had to experiment with pushing and pulling each other, walking our bikes, coasting down any slight decline and kicking ourselves off to move forward. I should maybe feel less okay about a day with so many things gone wrong, but I loved today. My body is sore and my skin has some healing to do, but my heart is whole and happy.

I'd love to hear what you have to say, about what I have to say.
