Malaysia is afternoon rain showers, and bus rides past palm oil plantations. It is covered heads and bare feet, roti canai and teh tarik. Malaysia is grey skies and blue skies, literally and figuratively. It is bed bugs and dead cats. Malaysia is big malls and dense jungle. Hard concrete and soft sand. Malaysia is layers of history. It is cultural complexity. It is resilience. -- Bali was supposed to be short and sweet for me. I wasn't supposed to be done with Malaysia yet. But returning for 7 days in Malaysia turned into 7 days additional in Bali. It became 13 days of introspection and retrospection, 28.5 hours of yoga and meditation, 90 pages of writing, and three beautiful friendships. It became something seriously transformational. It was me finding my path. No, scratch that - being FORCED onto the right path. It was everything blossoming into what should be, what needs to be, what IS. I love Malaysia, but my self-love became more important this week. So I write this from my layover in Kuala Lumpur, a quick stop over before heading onto my next destination. Thank you Malaysia, and thank you Bali. Both proved to be something I never expected, but both something I needed. Going with what feels right, TRULY feels so right. #bali #indonesia #malaysia #seasia #travel #yoga #serenity #transformation #change #cameronhighlands #asia #meditation #selflove

I'd love to hear what you have to say, about what I have to say.
